#CatchupRoundup (15/01/2019)

Need to know what’s good to find on the on-demand services? Look no further, as we bring you our ever trusty guide with #CatchupRoundup, scouting out and bringing you all the best bits of telly so you don’t have to. So go get comfy whilst we recommend this week’s choices…

Returning for its eighth series – and third since it made a successful comeback in 2016 – the much loved comedy drama about a group of friends living in and around Manchester is just as an emotional rollercoaster – but full of warmth and wit – as ever. Pete (John Thomson) and Jenny (Fay Ripley) are newly rekindled following their wedding vow renewals at the end of the last series, but an unexpected turn of events could potentially burst their bubble.

A new celebrity run of the series where two teams of antique dealers head out on a road trip to find the best vintage goods to sell on at auction has returned. Tim Wonnacott returns as always to narrate, and guests this series include Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward of 80s girl group legends Bananarama in an episode that has to be seen to be believed.

  • FLIRTY DANCING (All4)

Founder and leader of much loved street dance team Diversity, Ashley Banjo hosts this new Channel 4 dating show that’s like Blind Date for the Strictly generation. Two singletons have to learn a new dance before a date with each other where they will dance together. The question is, will the chemistry be the same on and off the dance floor?

  • RED ARROWS: KINGS OF THE SKY (My5)

Is it ever a public celebration of a joyous event without the Red Arrows making an appearance – and more importantly, BBC newsreader Huw Edwards commentating on their arrival? In this new fly on the wall documentary series, we get to go behind the scenes and meet the people behind some of the most instantly recognisable aircraft in the British skies today.
