    Although it only performed modestly well at the box office on its original December 1992 release, legendary puppet ensemble The Muppets’ take on Charles Dickens’ popular seasonal novella A Christmas Carol, starring Sir Michael Caine in the role of Scrooge, has proved to be a timeless and much loved Christmas film.

    Lead Muppet Kermit The Frog took on the role of Bob Cratchit for the film, and – accompanied by some singing rats and penguins and whatever The Great Gonzo is – delivered this sweet number, which tells of the excitement, joy and hope of the festivities to come.
