An interesting fact for you, pop pickers of the last oooh, five years. British pop rock scamps The Vamps – who’ve been the subject of interest again thanks to their guitarist James McVey’s appearance in the I’m A Celebrity jungle for the last few weeks – released a Christmas album once. No really. We suspect the reason many people don’t know they have is because it was bolted onto an international edition of their debut album.
And in amongst the token covers of ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ et al, lies this wonderfully wistful self penned number about unrequited missing of an ex-girlfriend a year after you broke up with them over the festive season. This is one modern attempt at a future Christmas classic you’d do well to add to your playlists every December.
