When a DJ and producer has had a career spanning over 20 years, it’s safe to say you’re probably dealing with one of the best in the business. Such is the case with French born, London residing Laurent Schark.
A resident electro-house DJ in top London night spots like Palm Beach Club and 93 Feet East, as well as a weekly broadcast globally on FM radio of his ‘Laurent Schark Selection’ show, this week sees the release of his latest single.
Guest vocals on the brooding, atmospheric, 80s-esque house track ‘One of a Kind’ come from the soulful tones of Darren Ellison, who, along with John Allen, can normally be found providing the world’s most energetic BV duties for everyone from Alesha Dixon to (most notably for the present writer) Olly Murs.
A perfect soundtrack for a taste of the warmer months to come, this single is a mellow but wonderfully addictive club cut with a uniquely retrospective touch.
