Christmas Song Advent Calendar 2017: Day 17

This Christmas song holds a great deal of memories for me, in more ways than one. I knew that Christmas was approaching as a kid, when my mum started playing her (now well worn) copy of The Best Christmas Album in the World…Ever – of which this was the first track on Disc 1. It reminds me of the tree going up, writing Christmas cards to classmates at school, and generally feeling like a good time of year was about to start. And it still evokes the same feeling now I’m an adult.
